The Full Story
The Abel Tasman Great Walk is popular all year round, More than 200,000 people walk the trail either the full 60km or just a little bit. It is a very well maintained trek but your still need to have your safety and your families safety kept front of mind. Dont go in unprepared, if you need emergency services they are not just a phone call away. Take waterproof clothing, wide brim hats, a location device ( PLB) and check the weather before you start. You will also need to know the tide times. Contact us if need help with hire gear or guides.
